Privacy notice

NodePipeline Base Advisory (“we”) is the data user for personal data collected through nodepipelinebase.digital and through professional enquiries. We are based at 128 Jalan Kepayang Kawasan 18, Klang, Selangor, 41050, Malaysia. This notice explains our practices under Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).

Data we collect

• Identity and contact details you submit on the enquiry form (name, email, service interest, message).
• Business context you choose to share (organisation, application name, payment cycle).
• Technical logs that our host may keep (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and availability.
• Cookie preferences stored in your browser under a brand-prefixed key, as described on our cookie policy.

Purposes

We use this data to reply to enquiries, prepare scoping notes, perform contracted audit work, keep engagement records, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal data. We do not use the website to run automated credit decisions.

Legal basis

Enquiry data is processed with your consent when you submit the form, and as needed to take steps at your request before a contract. Engagement files are processed to perform the contract and to meet record-keeping duties. Security logs are processed for our legitimate interest in keeping the site available and safe.

Sharing

We may share data with professional advisers, IT hosts, and, where an engagement requires it, your nominated contacts at the organisation that engaged us. We do not publish client working papers on this site.

Retention

Unsuccessful enquiries are kept up to 24 months unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Engagement files follow the retention period in the statement of work, typically seven years for working papers, unless a longer period is required by law.

Your rights

Subject to the PDPA, you may request access to your personal data, correction of inaccurate data, and information about how we use it. You may withdraw consent for optional communications. Withdrawal does not affect work already performed under a signed agreement.

Transfers

If a host or adviser processes data outside Malaysia, we take steps consistent with the PDPA to protect it.
